Northern Mystics assistant coach Rob Wright can't speak more highly of his defensive unit

Skipper Sulu Fitzpatrick, Phoenix Karaka and Michaela Sokolich-Beatson are playing together for the first time since 2019.

The experienced trio have had to bide their time to get on court together, with Sokolich-Beatson's achilles ruptures, Karaka's pregnancy in 2020 and Fitzpatrick's bout of Covid earlier this year.

Wright says they've worked hard to get back to their best.

The Mystics are about to get underway against the Pulse in Auckland - centre pass is in about five minutes.
