New Zealand has 12,882 new Covid community cases -- and another 11 people have died with the virus

There are details for only nine deaths -- two were in Auckland, five in Waikato and one each in MidCentral and Nelson Marlborough.
It includes three people in their 70s, three in their 80s and three people in their 90s.
Today, there are 861 hospitalisations -- including 21 people in intensive care.
The ministry is again encouraging people to have a booster shot - to restore their immunity against Omicron to 90 percent, as it drops after the second jab.
Just over 72 percent of the eligible population has had a booster.
