A person in their 30s is among the 23 Covid-19 related deaths which have been reported today

The Ministry of Health says they include people who have died in the past five days.

The others are two people in their 50s, one in their 60s, one in their 70s, 13 in their 80s and five people over 90.

The deaths are from Auckland, Northland, Lakes, MidCentral, Wellington, Nelson Marlborough and Southern DHB areas.

There are 678 people in hospital, with 30 in ICU.

There are 11,560 new community cases of Covid-19..

There are also 41 new cases at the border.
