A dominant performance from New Zealand's track cyclists on the opening day of the Oceania Championships in Brisbane

Ellesse Andrews became the first Kiwi rider in two decades to claim the sprint title, while Bryony Botha edged her own national record in the 3000 metres individual pursuit in three minutes and 19.634 seconds, also setting a new Oceania record.
Aaron Gate won the points race, while Ally Wollaston won the sprint race.
