Experts believe a fourth dose isn't necessary for most New Zealanders

It comes as the Ministry of Health says a call on whether to offer a fourth dose, is likely to be made before winter.
Otago University Epidemiologist Professor Peter McIntyre says a fourth dose shouldn't be a priority for those who are healthy and under 50.
He says officials should focus on the elderly and those who are very sick.
Auckland University Vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris agrees a fourth dose should be more targeted at the vulnerable, instead of everyone.
She says it could help keep at-risk people from getting very sick.
