Warriors coach Nathan Brown appears resigned to losing the services of Kodi Nikorima

Multiple reports across the Tasman claim the utility is in talks with a Sydney club for an immediate transfer after being given permission to negotiate by the Warriors.

Nikorima is off contract next year and Brown says they know his wife isn't keen on moving back to New Zealand.



Ruahei Demant's new title doesn't change her approach to rugby.

The 27-year-old playmaker is the new Black Ferns captain, leading the side at next month's Pacific Four series against Australia, Canada and the USA.

She replaces Les Elder who has been omitted from Wayne Smith's squad.

Demant says she'll continue to lead by example.
