William and Shaun Burr were accused of chopping off a teenage burglar's finger before kicking and punching the intruder on the kitchen floor.
They were also being accused of assaulting the burglar's girlfriend after finding the pair in the father's home.
Open Justice reports the pair have been found not guilty on all of the charges they faced.
Family members -- who were in court for the verdict -- have been responding to the news with tears, congratulations and palpable relief.
The burglar -- who has name suppression -- was dealt with through the Youth Court.
