Wet weather's forecast for the end of central New Zealand's weekend

Wet weather's forecast for the end of central New Zealand's weekend

MetService says a front, followed by a northwesterly flow is predicted to lie over the middle part of the country for the coming days.

It will bring bouts of heavy rain - and watches are in place for Mount Taranaki and the Tararua Range.

People are advised to stay up to date with the latest forecasts, in case the weather becomes more severe and warnings are put in place.
