Police are still trying to find out who's responsible for killing a man in Tauranga overnight

Police are still trying to find out who's responsible for killing a man in Tauranga overnight

Emergency services were called to a "disorder incident" involving a group of people at a home on Maungatapu Road around 10.30pm.

Detective Senior Sergeant John Wilson says they located a body soon after ... and believe those involved in the homicide are known to each other.

Armed police are currently guarding the entry to a home at the end of a right of way, opposite Maungatapu Primary School.
