Former Silver Fern Leana de Bruin is concerned with the development of New Zealand netball players

Former Silver Fern Leana de Bruin is concerned with the development of New Zealand netball players

The 44-year-old has featured in three matches in this year's ANZ Premiership, two for the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic and one for the Stars.

She's expected to play for the Stars against the Mystics today, becoming the most capped player in the national netball league.

De Bruin says when she was asked to fill in, she assumed the Magic would have young up and coming players available.

    Centre pass is at 2:10pm.
