The Prime Minister says New Zealand still has work to do when it comes to firearm crimes

There have been numerous shootings in Auckland over the last few days, with community leaders calling on the Government to step up further to prevent gun crime.
It comes as Jacinda Ardern receives praise from all corners of the US for her Government's banning of semi-automatic weapons after the March 15 terror attacks.
But she says the problem in New Zealand has not been fixed.
Ms Ardern says that's why the Government is continuing with the implementation of a gun register.
She says the Police say this will be an important part of making progress within New Zealand.
