National's retained its top spot in the latest 1News Kantar Public Poll - while Labour has suffered a further drop in popularity
30 May 2022
National is steady on 39 percent and Labour has fallen by two points to 35 percent.
The Greens have enjoyed a one point bump in popularity to 10 percent - and Act is down one - to just seven percent.
But Jacinda Ardern's still the preferred Prime Minister -- but is now only eight percent ahead of National leader Chris Luxon.
How that translates into seats is down to the wire.
National and Act together would have 60 - while Labour and Greens would have 58.
But if Te Pati Maori joins the latter - a Labour Greens Maori Coalition would also have 60.
