Dutch cyclist Fabio Jakobsen has won the second stage of the Tour de France in a reduced sprint finish, after a late crash split the peloton in Denmark

Belgian rider Wout Van Aert took second place plus six bonus seconds and now leads Le Tour.

Of the Kiwis, Jack Bauer was 117th and George Bennett 160th - Bennett might not be happy with his team leader and defending champion Tadej Pogacar not much better in 152nd.

Though the Slovenian only sits eight seconds off the yellow jersey.
