Roughly 2.1-million New Zealanders will wake up with a little extra cash in their pocket tomorrow

The first Cost of Living Payment from the Government is rolling out - providing an extra 116-dollars a month for August, September and October.
People earning 70-thousand dollars a year or less are eligible, as long as they aren't already on a benefit.
The payment will be made automatically into people's bank accounts and recipients are urged to check Inland Revenue has their correct details.
Revenue Minister David Parker says the Government remains committed to supporting New Zealanders through the global inflation spike.
