More shootings in Auckland overnight

Police cordoned off a house in Papakura after a gun was apparently fired at a house.

A police spokeswoman says they were called at 3am to Great South Road and found damage to a window.

Nobody was hurt.

And police were also called to another firearms incident in Glen Innes.

The alleged offender left in a vehicle, and was later arrested by Police.

The two incidents are the latest in a series of gun violence city-wide in recent months.
