    Good news for parents turning to IVF to have a baby


    New research shows the health impacts from the premature birth and low birth weights associated with in vitro fertilisation don't continue throughout life.

    Co-author Dr Caroline Walker says in 2019, one in 30 New Zealand births were fertilised in a lab.

    She predicts parents will now be more willing to use IVF.

    She says any information about IVF is useful for parents making decisions about their family.
