Telehealth Forum's "Patient Anywhere Specialist Everywhere" project looks to reduce burnout and eliminate decades-long inequities in patient care.
P-A-S-E would run a national 24/7 roster for doctors, specialists and nurse practitioners.
Chair Doctor Ruth Large says it's a win-win for patients and medics.
She says it prevents patients from unnecessary travel, while health care workers would receive better clinical support especially in rural centres.
