    Any supporter hopes that Manchester United's American owners, the Glazer family, might sell could be false


    British chemical baron Sir Jim Ratcliffe's shown an interest in buying the football club.

    Sky News business correspondent Ian King expects the need for significant negotiation.

    The market capitalisation is 3.5 billion dollars but the Glazers apparently rate the value at closer to 10 billion.



    The Glazers bought the club for 1.5 billion dollars in 2005.
