    Another triumphant day on the piste for skier Mikaela Shiffrin


    The American has won a giant slalom in Slovenia to equal the women's record of 82 World Cup victories set by compatriot Lindsey Vonn.

    The 27-year-old rebounded from sixth the previous day to beat her nearest rival by 0.77 seconds.



    Shiffrin reached the milestone a decade after her first win at a slalom in Sweden.
