More wind is on its way for parts of the country

Auckland's Harbour Bridge was under lane and speed restrictions yesterday - during severe gusts.

MetService still has a strong wind warning in place for Clutha, Dunedin and North Otago.

Meteorologist John Law says there's still a chance more watches and even warnings could be issued.

He says there could be strong or severe gales in the southern and eastern parts of the South Island.
