    It's understood the man suspected of killing a Wellington woman, was her own son


    62-year-old Irene Katsougiannis was found dead in her Miramar home on Monday, by a concerned friend.

    Soteri Katsougiannis is believed to have lived at the property with his mother.

    He died in Hong Kong the same day her body was discovered.

    Police have been treating it as a homicide and a scene examination is expected to finish by the weekend.
