Fire and power crews are dealing with the aftermath of wild weather across Auckland

Fire and power crews are dealing with the aftermath of wild weather across Auckland

Severe wind gusts have brought down tree and powerlines across the city and delayed flights.

Crews attended more than 100 incidents at the height of storms which battered the Auckland and Waikato areas.

At one stage the Desert Road was also closed due to snow.
