    Super Rugby player Connor Garden-Bachop has died aged 25, following what a New Zealand Rugby statement reports was a "medical event"


    He debuted for the Highlanders in 2021, claimed two caps for the national Maori side against Ireland in 2022 and represented Wellington and Canterbury at provincial level.

    Garden-Bachop was the father of twin girls.

    The NZR document states that all of rugby is "collectively united in our grief".
