Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have sealed their romance by cuddling up together to mark the Fourth of July celebrations

The singer and actress, 31, was recently apart from the 36-year-old music producer - who she has been dating since June 2023 - while filming, but the pair have shown they are happily still loved up by posting an image of themselves hugging on Instagram over the holiday.

Their image was posted on Selena's Instagram and showed her boyfriend wrapping his arm around her chest and hugging her from behind as she sat at a garden table.

She sported a white headband and matching summer dress - while Benny matched her look with an all-white Independence Day outfit of his own.

Benny also posted shots of Selena on his social media in which she was seen smiling.

Selena and Benny reunited in June after the actress was away attending the Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film 'Emilia Perez' and filming the latest series of her hit show 'Only Murders in the Building' in New York.

Benny marked their reunion by posting a snap of Selena as she closed her eyes and rested on a white pillow: "She's back."

The pair's latest online public displays of affection come after Selena said she was planning to adopt a baby before she met Benny.

She told Time about resigning herself to being a single mum: "I was alone for five years and I got really used to it. A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it."

Selena added she then "came up with my plan", which was for her to adopt at the age of 35 if she "had not met anyone".

She said about things changing when she met Benny: "It just happens when you least expect it."

Selena added her new partner has tuned out the "noise" when it comes to "hurtful" things trolls say about her body.

She said: "I know what people can do to people I love. My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to me about how I live my life.

"But he has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him.

"It's really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that he's not going anywhere anytime soon."

Selena took her romance with Benny, born Benjamin Levine, public in December, and he told earlier this month how his "next goal" is to have children with the actress.

He told 'The Howard Stern Show': "That's my next goal, to check the box (of having a family.)

"I have a ton of godkids; I've got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids."
