Shareholders have voted to take out a 130-million dollar loan.
It's a life-line from its largest shareholder, Bright Dairy, and means Synlait can meet bank debt payments, due on Monday.
Under NZX rules, Bright Dairy couldn't cast a vote on the proposal today.
Chair George Adams says proxy votes - cast before major shareholder A2 Milk confirmed its support - were 57-percent in favour.
