An Australian RTD brand is still selling it's products here despite it's appeal to minors

An Australian RTD brand is still selling it's products here despite it's appeal to minors

Several of Billson's drink flavours breach the Australian advertising codes and are banned in some states.

Despite complaints about its recent sales here, the Advertising Standards Authority are allowing the company to sell all of the Grape Bubblegum and Rainbow Sherbet flavours it has in stock before rebranding.

Communities Against Alcohol Harm Secretary Grant Hewison says the drinks shouldn't get a free pass here.

He says it sends a poor message a company can sell products here that are essentially banned in Australia.

Billson's says it's ceased advertising of the Grape Bubblegum and Rainbow Sherbet Vodka flavours and will discontinue the latter once stock runs out.
