A grim outlook on the rental market for low-income households

Research from the Child Poverty Action Group shows a decline in the number of affordable rental properties in the past five years.
It says the cost to rent is rising, following the suit of housing prices.
Researcher Greg Waite says the entire country has suffered, but the regions have fared the worst.
He says older houses are being renovated or demolished - without cheaper stock coming in to replace it.
