    The United States has finally hit the top of the Olympics medal table after Day 9 in Paris

    The United States has finally hit the top of the Olympics medal table after Day 9 in Paris


    The Americans have joined China with 19 golds, but have way more silver and bronze medals - with 71 compared to China's 45.

    France is third on the table with 12 golds and Australia is in fourth...also with 12 golds.

    New Zealand is in 15th spot with two golds, four silvers and a bronze.
