Police have arrested a dozen people, accusing them of stealing vehicles across Auckland overnight

Police stopped a group they say broke into a vehicle at Lynn Mall just before 7.30pm - using spikes.

The driver's in custody - Police are looking for the others involved.

Seven people were arrested after a stolen vehicle was clocked speeding just before 12.30 in Otara.

Nearby, two people fleeing police were caught after crashing into a fence.

Meanwhile, a man's been charged with dangerous driving and a woman with possessing methamphetamine, after a stolen vehicle was spotted in Otahuhu.
