Work is underway to make sure the seafood industry isn't still paying tariffs

At the recent Seafood Conference, it was revealed a large part of the industry is still paying, despite free trade agreements being in place.

Seafood New Zealand Chief Executive Lisa Futschek says it's unclear how many exporters it's affecting, but the problem appears to be at the importer end.

She says they're working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the industry's taking full advantage.
