The 33 year old's claimed silver in the C-4 women's 3000 metre time trial at the Paris Paralympic Games.

Taylor's endured thyroid cancer - as well as a severe disc prolapse in her back that compressed her spinal cord.



It's New Zealand's first medal of the Games.

Michael Johnson finished fifth in his mixed 10 metre standing air rifle final.

Cameron Leslie and Gaby Smith both finished seventh in their respective swimming finals.
