Roosters coach Trent Robinson has applauded former Wallaby Mark Nawaqanitawase's debut performance in the NRL

The winger - who joined the tricolours after playing for the Australian sevens team at the Paris Olympics - scored a try with his second touch of the ball after snatching a cross field kick.

Robinson says Nawaqanitawase looked comfortable on the pitch.



The Roosters can hold onto second on the ladder if the Panthers lose to the Titans this evening.
