New cancer drugs could be funded for New Zealanders

Pharmac's consulting on a proposal to fund four new medications for lung cancer, breast cancer, RSV for children and a inhaler for lung disease.

Director of Pharmaceuticals Geraldine MacGibbon says the medications would be funded from January 1st next year.

She says the impact of the medications would be significant.
