New Zealand Cricket are keeping faith in Gary Stead as Black Caps coach despite four consecutive test losses

New Zealand Cricket are keeping faith in Gary Stead as Black Caps coach despite four consecutive test losses

Tim Southee has stepped down as captain following the 2-nil test series drubbing at the hands of Sri Lanka.

NZC chief executive Scott Weenink says Stead's contract is up in the middle of next year.

Tom Latham assumes the leadership ahead of the three-test series in India starting in a fortnight.
