Reba McEntire and Rex Linn plan to celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve

The 69-year-old country singer and the 68-year-old actor have been in a relationship for nearly four years, and in that time, they've developed a series of Christmas traditions

Speaking to E! News, Reba shared: "Rex and I will go see a movie. We have our Christmas on Christmas Eve and he likes to go see movies, so we'll do that first thing in the morning before the crowds hit the theatres. Then we'll come back and we'll have our meals.

"You noticed I said meals, because we'll have lunch and supper and probably a midnight snack. That will be our tradition."

Reba and Rex both star in the NBC sitcom 'Happy's Place', and the country singer has revealed that she loves working alongside her partner.

She said: "We met working. Rex and I met on 'The Gambler' movie in '91, so we're used to working together and also being together as partners and buddies and lovers. It just works out."

Earlier this year, Reba revealed that she relished working with Rex on 'Happy's Place'.

She told 'Extra': "We've gotten to do two other projects together, ABC 'Big Sky' and then Lifetime 'The Hammer' movie. We love working together.

"What's really the best part about it, he's my coach, so when we're home, he's helping me with my lines and to memorise. He's wonderful, helps me a lot."

Reba has also relished starring alongside Melissa Peterman - her long-time friend - in 'Happy's Place'.

She said: "I love to do sitcoms. They're so much fun and with Melissa, we have a blast wherever we are, but in front of those four cameras, it's a lot of mischief happening."
