More details as police hunt a homicide suspect - after a man died with gunshot wounds in Lower Hutt yesterday

He was found critically injured on Naenae's Seddon Street about 3pm.

Police are looking for a man about 30-years-old - of a large build and with full facial tattoos.

They believe he had help - and fled in a black 2008 Mercedes Saloon.

Detective Inspector John Van Den Heuvel is asking the suspect to hand himself in, so they can understand what has occurred.
