Kiwis hooker Brandon Smith is adamant he'll put in his best for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL next year, despite them seemingly pushing him out the door

The signing of Cowboys dummy half Reece Robson to the Tricolours from 2026 looks to have signalled the end of Smith's time at Bondi, with his contract expiring at the end of next year.

Smith - who's recovering from an ACL injury - has told James Graham's The Bye Round Podcast his relationship with coach Trent Robinson is unchanged and he still wants to win a premiership.
