    A person has suffered a serious electric shock after climbing a power pylon in Christchurch


    Emergency services were called to Ashtead Lane in the Sockburn about 7.40 last night.

    The youth was stuck at least 25 metres above the ground, for over an hour.

    St John says they transported a patient in critical condition to Christchurch hospital.
