Ben Affleck has returned to his $20 million mansion

The 'Good Will Hunting' actor, 52, was one of a string of celebrities who has been forced to flee the wildfires in LA on Wednesday (08.01.25), which have devastated homes and keep growing due to 100-mile-per-hour winds.

But sources have now told Page Six he has visited his home again after learning it was one of the few still standing.

An insider said: "Ben's home is still under evacuation order but he feels so grateful his property is safe for the time being.

"Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation and it's beyond tragic.

"This situation is devastating to so many and Ben is reaching out to anybody he can to help."

Ben was seen sitting in his black sedan while entering a code to gain access to the home, Page Six added.

When the actor left the home earlier this week it emerged he went to seek shelter at his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's home.

He was photographed driving to the 52-year-old actress' home with his arm hanging out of the window of his black SUV on Tuesday (07.01.25) night.

Jennifer and her and Ben's children - Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and 12-year-old Samuel - were reported to not have been ordered to evacuate the area yet, but they were said to be on standby.

Actor Eugene Levy, 78, was among the other celebrities hit by the evacuations.

He told the Los Angeles Times he got trapped in traffic as he tried to flee his neighbourhood.

The actor added said: "The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon. I couldn't see any flames, but the smoke was very dark."

Reality star Spencer Pratt, 41, and his wife Heidi Montag, 38, saw their home totally destroyed during the fires.

A source told TMZ 'The Hills' regulars safely evacuated their neighbourhood, but their Pacific Palisades house "burned to the ground".

The fire started on Tuesday around 10:30am quickly spread over thousands of acres.

According to California governor Gavin Newsom, fire season - which isn't "traditionally" at this time of year - has become "year-round in the state of California".
