Riley Keough has paid tribute to Lisa Marie Presley on the anniversary of her mom's death

The 'Daisy Jones and the Six' star took to her Instagram Story on Sunday (12.01.24) to pay tribute to the singer - who passed away aged 54 in 2023 after suffering complications from weight-loss surgery - by sharing a screengrab of the pair on a FaceTime call together.

In the photo, Riley could be seen smiling in the top right corner while Lisa Marie had an animated expression in the main image.

She simply captioned her post with a heart emoji.

The 35-year-old actress also shared a post from her 16-year-old half-sister Finley Lockwood, which featured a throwback photo of her mom.

The teenager, who has a twin sister named Harper, had captioned her photo: "2 years [heart emoji] i love you always.(sic)"

Lisa Marie's brother, Navarone Garcia - the son of her mom Priscilla Presley and her former partner Marco Garibaldi - reflected on the two years since her death and how much he misses the "good times" they had, despite their differences over the years.

Sharing his own throwback photo, he wrote on Instagram: "Can't believe it's been 2 years. Sending love and thinking of you today.

"People seem to love to judge or have an opinion on our relationship but I do truly miss the good times we had. When things were harmonious things were great. It unfortunate that I even have to bring up the unharmonious times... but ya know somebody's gonna say something negative (and probably still will anyway) about something I said one time ... but anyway.

"I love you and miss you sis. Much love. [heart emoji] (sic)"

Riley - whose grandfather, Elvis Presley, died in 1977 aged just 42 - recently dismissed talk of a "curse" on her famous family following the early death of her mom and her brother Riley Keough, who took his own life in 2020 aged 27.

Speaking at the Jerry Moss Theater in Los Angeles on the last stop of her book tour, she said: "I think the word 'curse' is used because my family are looked at as this not real mythology or something, but really it's just very common things, like addiction."

"Everyone in here has loved somebody with addiction issues or has lost somebody tragically.

"I mean, the hope is that the future generations of our family aren't going to struggle so much with addiction. Of course, that's the dream."
