Optimism Auckland FC will only endure one match without captain Hiroki Sakai

Optimism Auckland FC will only endure one match without captain Hiroki Sakai

The defender is out for Saturday's home game against Melbourne City after suffering a concussion when struck in the head by a ball during last weekend's loss to the Glory in Perth.

Black Knights coach Steve Corica says all signs suggest Sakai will return for their mid-week trip to South Australia next week.

Arsenal have reclaimed second in the Premier League thanks to a come-from-behind 2-1 home win over Tottenham in the North London derby.

The Gunners go to 43 points - Liverpool lead on 47, with a game in hand.

Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Newcastle also had wins.
