A pair of firearms incidents in Auckland

Police were called to Applejack's Bar and Eatery in Highland Park at about 9.45 last night - after a man was shot by a group of three men.

He's seriously injured, and inquiries are being made into who's responsible.

Earlier that night, Police say two groups of people had an altercation outside a Mount Wellington restaurant, before driving off in separate cars.

They allege an occupant of one car has then shot at the other.

Both cars were eventually stopped by officers, and a shotgun was allegedly found in one; three people have been arrested.
