A blow for the Highlanders just three weeks out from the start of the Super Rugby Pacific season

Loose forward Oliver Haig has been ruled out for up to 10 weeks after suffering a foot fracture during training.

Haig, who can also cover lock, was a member of the All Blacks XV squad last year and will undergo surgery later this week.

The Highlanders open their season on February 14 against the Waratahs in Sydney.
