    The defence team of a former Australian police officer accused of murdering a gay couple near Sydney is requesting his cellphone records


    Beaumont Lamarre-Cordon is charged with murdering a man he'd earlier dated - and the victim's new boyfriend.

    His lawyer has told the court she wants reports from her client's phone - to determine his movements.

    The pair's bodies were found last February inside surfboard bags at a rural property in Bungonia, 200 kilometres from Sydney.
