British and Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell is poised to add a highly-regarded coach and administrator to his staff for their tour of Australia this year

He's tapped David Nucifora - part of the Wallabies World cup winning squad in 1991 - and currently the performance director of Scotland Rugby.

He's previously held similar roles with Australian and Irish rugby and before that coaching roles with the Brumbies and Blues.

The Lions' 10-match itinerary begins against Argentina in Dublin on June 20 and will culminate in three Tests in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in July and August.
