Auckland commuters will have to wait another week for the entire train network to be back online

Auckland commuters will have to wait another week for the entire train network to be back online

The Western and Onehunga lines are back in business today, but there are some restrictions on the Eastern and Southern lines.

Good weather has meant Kiwirail has been able to get most of its repairs done, but there are still a few they need to do.

Auckland Transport Public Transport Director Stacey van der Putten says next week the newly upgraded Pukekohe line will be ready too.

She says it will be fully electrified and will mean Pukekohe residents can get into the city with one trip.
