Canterbury's District Commander says Police dealt appropriately with a senior officer accused of unprofessional behaviour

Canterbury's District Commander says Police dealt appropriately with a senior officer accused of unprofessional behaviour

The Independent Police Conduct Authority says staff complained a supervisor made offensive jokes, expected staff to work while sick, and discussed individuals' performance with the wider team.

Superintendent Tony Hill says the behaviour is unacceptable, and doesn't reflect Police values.

Police completed an employment process and took action to address the concerns.
