Rising premiums are pushing more people into considering third party car insurance

Rising premiums are pushing more people into considering third party car insurance

The average quote for comprehensive car insurance on comparison website Quashed, has increased 41-percent in the past two years.

Quashed Chief Executive Justin Lim says their users are weighing up a broader range of options.

He says they haven't seen a big switch to third party yet, but interest in third party polices has increased 46-percent in the past year.

Lim says consumers have been learning how to adapt, in the face of quite significant increases to premiums.
