Anticipation's building in the property market, with expectations the Official Cash Rate will be shaved by another 50-points today

Real Estate Institute figures show house prices are 21.5 percent below their peak in Auckland, and 15.7 percent below nationally.

Institute Chief Executive Jen Baird says it's still a buyer's market.

Baird says they're already hearing from agents across the country, of a more positive sentiment.
