    Meridian Energy's reached an agreement to purchase NZ Windfarms Limited


    The energy provider is already the biggest shareholder, and will now acquire all the shares, which are valued at 91 million dollars.

    Meridian is also involved in a venture to repower the company's largest asset, the Te Rere Hau Wind Farm in Manawatu.
